Grading

This is a Pass/Fail course. There will be a homework assignment due every class. These assignments will not require a lot of time to complete (I hope). However, in order to understand the Internet, it is necessary to DO the Internet. These assignments will entail such things as accessing news groups, posting messages, searching the web, sending e-mail, etc. There will be no tests in this course. However, ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. I will take attendance every class. There will be 14 classes, you may miss 3 of them. If you miss more than 3 for ANY reason, then you will NOT pass the course. You must attend the ENTIRE class (if you sneak out early, then you will be marked absent). You must do 80% of the assignments.
